Urgent notice! Sudden closure of the largest port in the United States

At 17:00 pm local time on April 6th, the largest container ports in the United States, Los Angeles and Long Beach, suddenly ceased operations. Los Angeles and Long Beach issued notices that due to unforeseen circumstances, the ports had temporarily closed.


Due to the temporary closure of two major ports in the United States, involving 12 terminal areas, it is currently known that only the Mason Terminal can carry out normal container lifting operations, while other terminals are no longer able to carry out container lifting operations.


The relevant departments at the port are urgently handling the situation. This weekend is Easter, and it is expected that after the port opens, centralized unloading and container pick-up will lead to congestion, which may affect container operations from one week to the next, causing delays ranging from 3 to 7 days.
